- Does this exist - herb and tomato planter?
Towards the beginning of the year I was walking somewhere and saw what I thought was an herb and tomato indoor planter. It was basically a stand with a single flat shelf from which both things grew - the herbs grew upwards from the top of this shelf and the tomatoes grew downwards from the bottom. Does this sound at al familiar to anyone? Do you know what it is called or where I could get it if it does? At first i thought it was something similar to the AeroGarden kits, but I did not see anything like this when I looked them up. Does anyone have any ideas? I appreciate the help!
A yes i have 2 of them i found them on a garden supply website im not sure which one,i think it may have been gurneys if not try parks seeds they also have a good supply of supplies.hope this helps happy gardening

- Can tomatoes, blueberries & strawberries all be planted in the same planter if its large enough?
I have a 6 foot long and 1.5 foot wide wooden box planter, that stands on metal legs 2 feet off the ground. Is there enough room in something like that to plant all 3 of these things? Can they even cohabitate like that or will the roots of one kill the others? I just got it and im eager to start planting but i know nothing about planting. Can i even plant them now or am i out of season. Also can the three of them be in direct sunlight or no? Thanx. sorry for so many Q's!
A Tomatoes need sun and need 1-2 inches of water every week. They need to be planted 12 to 18 inches apart. Strawberries can run over the edge and they need to be kept moist. A blueberry bush needs room. http://www.ehow.com type in grow blueberries. There's some good information about pruning the bushes.
